Via our representation at Deanery Synod and participation in the election of lay members to the national Synod, we continue to make a small contribution to the church's life nationally.
Worship
Worship follows a monthly pattern: traditional Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sunday of the month at 09.30 hrs.
The Family Service is held on the second Sunday of the month at 09.30 hrs. The family service in particular continues to act as a point of contact with the church for parents and children in the village, many of whom do not ordinarily participate in worship. It is worth emphasising, however, that parents and children are welcome at all our services.
Evensong is held at 18.30 hrs in church in even months and in the Methodist Church, just across the bridge, in odd months.
There are a variety of arrangements for months in which there is a fifth Sunday.
Visitors are very welcome to all our services and at other times. The church is normally open to visitors during daylight hours throughout the week and at weekends.
